And alas probably the most debilitating problem for the typical American consumer is unsecured credit card debt. We have hit a record high with unsecured credit card debt. So many consumers can’t even afford to be on time with their monthly minimum payments and have been slipping into a past due status in large numbers. This will tighten the credit crunch and annihilate people’s finances completely once and for all. When will debt settlement companies be doing the right thing.
